Quickly create Adobe® InDesign® documents via simple XML files or programmatically

INXBuilder© is a rendering tool that allow to create XML files in Adobe® InDesign© Interchange© (INX) format. INXBuilder© manage pages, multi-column layouts, texts, tables, lists and images.

For developers and non developers

There are two ways to create a document in Adobe® InDesign© Interchange© format:

• Describing the document structure in a "HTML like" XML document;
• Using the .Net libraries available in the API from your application.

No matter how you decide to use the tool, INXBuilder will take care of the "spreads", rotations, absolute/relative prositioning, etc. issues.

Tables

INXBuilder can create tables which cells content are over multiple rows/colums (spanning). Headers and footers can be automatically repeated at each page break.
Cells can contain text, images or other tables 

Images

INXBuilder© can include images in your documents with the correct scale. Supported formats are BMP, PNG, JPEG and TIFF.

Repeatable pages

INXBuilder© can handle content that will be rendered over multiple pages automatically. Example: a price list table...

Multi-columns

INXBuilder© can layout your pages on two or more colums to make your publications look like a "newspaper".

Content rotation

INXBuilder© can rotate text at 90, 180 and 270 degrees.

INX or PDF, the choice is yours

Creating INX documents that are editable in Adobe® InDesign© allows you to focus more on layout and less on content. From Adobe® Indesign©, exporting to PDF finalized documents will be very trivial.

Plateforms

INXBuilder© is available from Microsoft.Net 2.0 and higher. Developped in C#, the API is compatible with any .NET language.

INXBuilder© is available in two versions :

• A Â« Desktop Â» version that can be installed in a personal computer (Windows XP, Windows Vista).
• A « Server Â» version that can be installed on a server (Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008). This is a CPU based license so if you server is multi processor, you will need one license by processor.
